Tribute to Benny Goodman
Dave Bennett's Septet

A true "jazz baby," Dave Bennett (he was born in 1984!) leads his All-Star Septet through Goodman's big hits and "swing-era" classics: Moonglow, I've Got Rhythm, Body and Soul, Slipped Disc, Sing, Sing, Sing and many others. Dave Bennett is a jaw dropping clarinet prodigy who brings to life the music of "The King of Swing" with incredible technique, expression and sensitivity. Vocals made famous by such Goodman singers as Peggy Lee and Helen Forrest are brought to life by jazz singer, Anne Seabury.

  Barbra & Frank
The Concert that Never Was
Sunday, April 13, 2008
2 PM

It is unlikely that the two powerhouse voices of the century would have ever shared the same stage...until now! Sharon Owens performs as Barbra Streisand with Sebastian Anzaldo as Frank Sinatra, creating the illusion of these two powerhouse performers sharing the stage at the height of their vocal powers. It's a dynamic close to yet another outstanding season of LBCCA shows!
